Sick Day

Everyone has been sick lately! This is actually a picture of Landon before the San Diego wedding. We weren't sure if he was going to be able to go with us which would have meant me staying at home with the 2 kids! Luckily, Landon got better. I thought this picture was so cute though because, 1) he NEVER watches TV and here he is watching Sesame Street, and 2) he's actually staying still!!! Incredible! He was shivering in the morning so I wrapped him up in blankets, got him pedialite and let him lay down and watch TV.

Landon really loves his towel now. He used to love running around naked rather than have a towel on him. He's always having so much fun too! He's becoming so much fun also.

Landon is really starting to try and "play" with Cody. He'll try to pet his hair. I caught him playing with him in his car seat. I wish I had a camera because Cody was smiling at Landon. Here's still a cute picture.

San Francisco

As promised, here are pictures of the San Francisco trip for the wedding. Okay, so first wedding was for Steve and Becky. They've been dating for like 3 years so it was about time! It was Cody's first flight so we had to get a picture of that! As you can tell, he had a ball!

There was a rehearsal dinner on Friday night. Here was our table. These are all of John's cousins. They are the COOLEST!

On Saturday, we mostly hung out till the afternoon when we had to get ready for the wedding that night. All the family who was in town came over to hang out at my in-laws house for a little bit. Here's my Aunt Sally holding Cody. The cool thing is, we have pictures of her holding Landon at the same age.

Here's Landon in his 3-piece suit! You can't see it too well but it's the cutest thing ever! He was really interested in the quartet that was playing right next to us. And yes, he was the only kid to make noise during the ceremony. Everytime I'd try to get him to sit down or sit on my lap, he'd scream. It was lovely let me tell you! And no, although it looks like I'm drunk in this picture, I can assure you I wasn't drinking.

It was a lot of fun afterwards too. There was the dinner and dancing. Plus, John was one of the best men and made a kick-A speech. Some of Becky's cousins became my "new friends" and they new me as 1) the girl that looked like Hillary Swank and 2) Cody's mom. They loved holding Cody and I was more than happy to let them hold him. One of the cousins wanted to take a picture with me and later he wanted to dance with me. John thinks he has a Hillary Swank fetish. And although it's meant as a compliment, I really really don't think Hillary is pretty! But that's another story for some other time.

Quick Update

For the past couple of weeks, we have been pretty busy. We went to San Francisco last weekend for a wedding! It was a lot of fun. There was dancing and dinner. I think it was the best filet mignot I've ever had! Landon wore the cutest little 3-piece suit. I'll have to put pictures in on my next post.
This weekend, we were getting ready to put our house up for sell. That's right, we're trying to upgrade! We'll see what happens. We put our house on the market this afternoon and I got my first call today for someone to look at it tonight! The next showing, that I know of, will be Wednesday. I'd say not bad for just putting it on the market.
Well, our lives are busy but good. Landon has learned to say no but mostly he has learned to "hit" the air if he doesn't get his way. Or if he's holding something, he throws it. The terrible twos are coming!! Cody is a very happy boy as long as he's fed and his diaper's clean! He's sleeping really well now which makes me a happy mommy! He usually goes down around 11 and has been waking up past 7! His longest night was just the other night from 10:45pm to 7:45am! I was very happy. Of course, if I didn't stay up after he went to bed, I'd actually end up getting more sleep then I am! What a concept.
Okay, on that subject, I should be sleeping right now! That is if I can fall asleep. With so much going on, I keep running things through my head! I think of how my life is going, what I have to do tomorrow, what would happen if our place sold real quick, what if it didn't sell at all, what do I have to clean, who the Bachelor is going to pick! That's right, I even think about TV shows like the Bachelor! By the way, my favorite is Melissa! She's just adorable.
