Easter

Okay, so I'm a week behind but I thought I'd still post the Easter pictures we took. These were actually not taken on Easter but the day before. A friend of mine invited us to go to an Easter egg hunt/brunch so we decided to go. It was really fun. We didn't know anyone else there except my friend but there were a lot of really nice people that we ended up talking to. Landon, of course, is way too young to go out and hunt for eggs so we picked one up off the ground and look how happy he was!!! And John was happy too because he got to eat the candy inside. Landon was really good during all of it and mostly just hung out in his stroller. He did get a little crabby towards the end so I decided to see if he liked the swing. He'd never been on a swing so this was exciting stuff! Mostly for us than for him. You could totally tell he was our first kid. We took like 40 pictures of him on the swing!!! It was a great day for him and hopefully next year, he'll have even more fun.

Funny Video

Here is another funny video I put together. If anyone besides my family can guess where the music is from, I will be really impressed.

Landon's such a goofball! I was taking off his shirt and he thought that was HILARIOUS!

Our place doesn't have many places to put all our stuff so I decided to have my Dad teach me the basics of wood-working and start by making a shelf, to place our TV on and put our DVD player and VCR in, and a bookcase. I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out! Now we finally have a place for our books and our DVD player and VCR don't have to look so white trash sitting on the floor! Plus, the nook that we have doesn't fit many of the bookcases that you could buy at the store. It has really random dimensions so John and I had been thinking that maybe it'd be better if we made one. Oh, and just imagine the bookcase actually pushed back into the nook. It doesn't really stick out like that!! And just to think that it all started out as sheets of wood!

Crawl and Climb

Landon has also started climbing to his feet. And, now that I found the right software to edit our videos, I can have a little fun with them too. It's nothing fancy, but still fun to do. I swear, in real life you can actually hear this music in the background when he's getting to his feet. :-)
