Just One Of Those Weeks

Do you ever have those days where you are so glad to be a mom? Yuor kids are just being perfect, they aren't crying or acting clingy or even whining! Yeah, I haven't had those days this week. Both kids just seemed to be feeding off of each other! Cody was clingy and Landon was whiny as all get out! But I saw these pictures and they made me smile. I have really good kids actually so I can't complain. I know I'm going to have a baby that was just like me and then I'll know what it's like having a colicky baby or just a difficult one. However, I married John and he was a very good and mild baby. Therefore, I have 2 kids who are both mild like their Daddy! Oh, and Cody is now sleeping all the way through the night. Actually, Cody and Landon are sleeping in the same room. They're pretty hard sleepers because when one wakes up, the other one stays asleep even if they're crying! So again, I don't have much to complain about but it's just been one of those weeks!
I don't think Landon wanted this picture of himself taken. He knows that we're going to show every picture of him to his future girlfriends some day and he didn't want this in the photo album. Too late sucker!

This is how he spends a lot of time. Lining up his blocks. He'll line up a lot of things, rocks, books, whatever you got! Is this normal? He's almost OCD about some things!

Just a small "photo shoot" on the chair. Cody's hoggin' all the attention.

The Zoo

Landon's first "real" time to the zoo was a couple months ago (June 13th to be exact) but I never posted about it! I say real time because the last times he's gone, he was too young to really enjoy it. I never realized how fun it was to go to the zoo with your kid! He walked the entire way all by himself. Well, by walking I really mean running. I've never seen him run so much. I was actually really scared he was going to totally biff it but surprisingly, he is not as clumsy as I thought. Anyways, the Sea Lions were his favorite. We could have hung out there most of the time. He had a blast and was exhausted by the end.

John was determined to get Landon to Roar like a lion. He was finally successful. So if you actually watch the video, just skip to like, the last 10 seconds.

80th B-day/Reunion

I finally have all the Florida pictures so I'm finally going to show all my readers (which I'm guesstimate would be around 2) how much fun we had! The first couple of days, we were just getting everyone in town. We came in on Thursday night with my mom and Dad. On Friday we just hung out while some more people came in town. I could not get enough of Landon and his cousin Riley. They were so cute together!
They both enjoyed being at the beach. After the beach, we'd let them play in a little blow-up pool my Aunt and Uncle got for them! So sweet! Landon could have stayed out there all day long. Him and Riley had a great time and hopefully Landon learned how to share from Riley! Thanks Scot and Becca for the AMAZING pictures you guys took.

Asher and Landon are on their way to being best buds!!!
(My Uncle Ron is holding Cody. Asher is being held by my brother Scot)

The surprise was the best part. My parents had gone down to pick up my Grandma and Granddad from Melbourne. My Granddad was not aware that my whole entire family had flown in! So we got sent up to a room and we decided that one by one, families would come out and surprise my Granddad. Let's just say that when you stick all of us in one room together, there's cameras, and there's no escape, you have some really good laughs! John and I were the first family out since we thought our cover had been blown.

Landon enjoyed all the balloons and would not put them down! He was so excited for them to finally get blown up!

The men in my life!

On Sunday, we took family pictures. It didn't go too badly actually! Here were some pictures from it.
This is all the family that came. My Grandparents, their 2 daughters and their whole family (which was mostly us) and my Granddad's sister and husband.

All the cousins

All my parents' grandkids

I just thought this was the sweetest picture of my grandparents!!

And then our family pictures

Okay, so for the past couple weeks, we were in Florida to celebrate my Granddad's 80th birthday! Everyone flew out to surprise him. It was really fun! There was a lot of going to the beach, watching the kids, talking with family, playing games, and just having a lot of fun. I don't have all the pictures but here are a few. Hopefully I'll post more pictures when I get them.

Here's how the boys spent most of the time on our way to Jacksonville, Thank Goodness!

Here's Landon with his cousin Riley. He loved playing in the pool with her. This was how we'd clean him off after the beach.

My Aunt Debi and Uncle Ron took out all their old kids' toys. Those are Mr. Potato Head's glasses. Don't they look awesome! Someday he'll be wearing those!

Hey, anyone up for a walk?
