How Far Along?

Today was my first appointment with the doctor. I thought I was about 12-13 weeks along and he said I was more like 13-14 weeks along. He thinks more on the 14 weeks than 13. And I got to hear the heart beat also. Yeah! So I'm already through the first trimester which is exciting. My due date is around Nov. 27ish. It'll probably be around Thanksgiving sometime which is fine with me. I'll be getting an ultrasound to make sure on the exact date this next Monday.

FYI

Landon's 1 year appointment was just this last Monday. If you asked me, I thought he was going to be 26 lbs. He feels so heavy to me! Well, he was only 21lbs which is the 25th percentile and 30.5 inches which is the 75th percentile. And coming in the 97th percentile ..... his head. Yup, I guess it's that Waye gene that makes our babies heads HUGE! I'm hoping that means he's going to grow up way smart.

1 Year's Old!

Landon is a big 1 year old! I can't believe it! We had a little party for him. My parents and some friends came over and had pulled pork sandwiches. We were going to have hot dogs and hamburgers but a friend of ours had her graduation party the night before and she told us that was what they were going to have so we decided not to have the same thing 2 nights in a row. Landon was really good for his party and enjoyed mooching off of my parents for food, playing with his new toys, and figuring out what cake tastes like. Camping in the Pecos

Here are some pictures of our camping trip in the Pecos. It was FREEZING at night but it was a lot of fun. Landon did really well for his first camping trip. He actually slept the whole entire night! I didn't realize how cold it was going to be so I'm glad he still fit into his coat/halloween costume! Plus, it looked so cute on him! It kept him really nice and warm.

We went for a hike in the morning. This is what Landon thought about it.

We went with Sam and Rochelle. Good thing we borrowed my Dad's truck because with all the stuff we had, there's no way John and I could have fit everything we needed to in our car with Landon!

Random

So, I promised a picture of him wearing his isotopes hat so here it is! I leave it in the car now so it blocks him from the sun and it always makes him happy!

Here we are gardening. I was SOOOOO excited to plant some flowers. I'm thinking that it adds a lot to our yard. I love to look out my kitchen and see flowers out there everyday! Oh, and Landon is "helping".

Landon LOVES baths and I gave him a big boy towel since his other ones were dirty. I think he liked it better! It's softer and thicker than his baby ones.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Our friends, Rochelle and Sam, invited us out to go to an Isotopes game. The weather was soooo nice. The seats weren't too shabby either! We were out by 3rd base. Of course there really aren't any bad seats in the place. Landon enjoys listening to the music and loves to clap his hands when everyone else is.

Landon and I also went to a game with my parents and my sister like a week later during the day. My dad got Landon the cutest baseball cap! He LOVES wearing it. Everytime I put it on him, he smiles and if he's in a bad mood and his hat it on, I just move it around on his head to remind him that his hat is there and he cheers up right away. I'll have to put his picture up with it on.

Catch Up

So I thought I should catch up finally and post some pictures. So when I went to Utah (because John was there for 2 weeks on business) I hung out with my sister Courtney a lot. Landon was really good for her. Well, I thought he was good. They had soooooo much fun together!!

Landon went swimming for the first time EVER! Our friends Sam and Rochelle told us about this school pool which has a kids area, which was pretty awesome, three bigger pools with a low and high dive, and a water slide! The place was way awesome. We had a blast! Landon loves baths so I was excited to see how he'd like the pool. Although it was cold, he loved it. He loved sticking his hands in the water and we'd move him back and forth.

So Landon's hair has always been longer cause it always seems to need to be getting cut so I had some fun with it in the bath tub. I think he liked the new hairstyle!
